Hughes Technical Services, a division of AP4 Group LLC, is seeking a full-time Electrical Field EngineerAP4 Group is a global full-service provider of heavy-duty & aeroderivative industrial gas turbine maintenance, including spare parts distribution, component repairs, and field services.

We continue to grow and are on the hunt for talented people to join our team!What are your responsibilities?The Electrical Field Service Engineer can live anywhere in the Unites States but must be willing to travel frequently to customer domestic locations.
The Electrical Field Engineer performs maintenance, service and troubleshooting of electrical systems, primarily, AVR, SFC, generator protection, synchronizing and generators, at customer's power plants.
Preparation and safe execution of work tasks independently or within a team.
On-site maintenance and testing of electrical systems.
On-site installation and commissioning support of electrical system upgrades Ensure that equipment works to its specifications.
On-site troubleshooting of electrical systems failure, including analyzing of event data Complete Field service reports, feedback record, and quality documentation in timely manner.
Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.
What do you need to qualify for this role? Bachelor's degree in engineering.
At least five years' electrical field service experience.
Knowledge of ABB / Alstom AVR and SFC systems preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Self-motivated and willingness to learn every day.
Travel extensively (domestic and international).
